Customer Comments:
Mr. Stewart,
This is to commend your service technician Willie Benjamin for his work on our HVAC system this week. My wife reports that he was very thorough, deliberate, polite and knowledgeable in going about figuring out how to fix the problem. His questions to her were thoughtful and the resolution was quick and did not require needless expenditure on our part. Please let him know that we very much appreciate receiving quality service from individuals like him who seem to take pride in their work—especially these days when good service does not seem to be a priority for many companies or workers. As a former Vice President--Corporate Communications for Piedmont Natural Gas, and as a landlord for commercial properties, I know full well how valuable an employee like Mr. Benjamin can be to his company and to his customers.
Sincerely,
Stephen D. Conner
Dear Mr. Stewart:
I want to recognize, and share with you, my appreciation of the seamless, professional service your staff delivered during the entire process of our recent HVAC installation. From the first call to Robin, my meetings with Barry, thru the installation by Bo's crew, and the visits by your managers & supervisors, everyone gave 100%+ effort to our project.
I will happy and confident to recommend Air Today to my family, friends, and business clients.
Best Regards,
Dick Eaker

North American Technician Excellence - NATE
Air Today is proud to be a NATE certified contractor. NATE is an independent, third-party certification body for HVAC/R technicians. NATE tests technicians; others train. Testing validates the technician's knowledge and a training program's instruction. NATE-approved testing organizations throughout the U.S. and Canada offer NATE tests. Candidates can earn installation and/or service certification in five specialty areas: air-conditioning, air distribution, heat pumps, gas heating & oil heating.
The entire HVAC/R industry supports NATE: manufacturers, utilities, wholesalers, educators, technicians, contractors and trade associations. The NATE coalition includes:
- Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA);
- Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI);
- American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers, Inc. (ASHRAE);
- Building Performance Institute (BPI);
- Eastern Heating & Cooling Council (EHCC);
- Edison Electric Institute (EEI);
- Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI);

- Service Roundtable;
- Skills USA;
- Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA); and

Consumer Reports said, "It’s a plus if a technician is NATE-certified." EPA tells consumers to ask if a contractor’s technicians are NATE-certified. Under the Montgomery GI Bill, the Department of Veteran’s Affairs (VA) reimburses veterans who take the NATE tests. The U.S. Army recognizes NATE certification for promotion points. No other certification exam enjoys this industry support.
